MCCSC New Registration Procedure
MCCSC New Registration Procedure Any returning student MUSTcomplete the on-line registration.  On-line registration is done through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.   Click here for instructions to register. If you have not previously been on PowerSchool and created a Parent account, click here for those instructions.  Your student access ID will be their lunch number and the access password will be their school mascot (ie eagles, wildcats, or cadets).  If you do not know your student’s lunch number, please contact your school for the information. If you have a returning student and do not have home access to the internet, we will have computers at your school starting Monday for you to come during registration (July 28th 9am – 1pm and 4pm – 7pm) and enroll your student(s). *This does not include Cascade High School.  NEW Elementary or Middle School Students Any student who is NEW to our district needs to complete paperwork/packet for enrollment and this can be done at your schoolon Monday July 28th.  Please enter through the main (front) doors into the office area. 2014 May Excellence Awards
The Mill Creek Board of School Trustees recognized these four very deserving students for their hard work and achievement. The Board regularly recognizes students who personify an Expectation of Excellence in their Achievement, Attitude, and Actions. Students who receive these awards are nominated by a variety of school personnel to be recognized. The faculty and staff are very proud of these students and the many others who work to make the most of every opportunity.

Digital Homework Update
Students at CMS are receiving digitally accessible assignments and tasks to complete for class on a weekly basis. The frequency of these assignments over traditional “paper and pencil” homework will only increase in the coming months. CMS is very sensitive to the fact that not all of our families have reliable access to the internet at home. This is why we are maintaining extended hours in the media center to provide students with an opportunity to access our technology here at school. Additional accommodations include teachers providing extended periods spanning at least a few days to complete digital tasks. Students are NEVER assigned a digital task to be completed by the next school day. Additionally, these digital tasks are neces- sary because they free up face-to-face class time with classmates and the teacher to push stu- dent learning farther than ever before. The end goal for all of this is to provide students with more engaging opportunities to learn not only more content, but learn it in a more meaningful and 21st Century relevant way.Students are doing a fantastic job of making this cultural and academic adjust-ment!
