Position: Maintenance Employee
- Full-time position (8 hours per day, not including lunch break).
- Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement required, will train.
- Hours may vary.
- Salary shall be in accordance with the existing salary schedule. ($26.52 per hour)
- Good work ethic is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Criminal history background check is required.
- Mechanical skills/experience required.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Repair and install electrical devices and equipment.
- Repair and install plumbing devices and equipment as needed.
- Inspect grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Painting
- Keep building and premises, interior/exterior, clean at all times.
- Plow/shovel snow.
- Move furniture/equipment as required.
- Mowing/trimming and related yard work.
- Cleaning/routine maintenance of boilers.
- Routine maintenance of equipment.
- Drive as substitute bus driver when necessary.

District Technician
Job Summary: The District Technician works to respond to the needs of the Mill Creek Community School Corporation staff and students in regards to device hardware, software and peripherals. The technician will respond in a timely manner to technology requests as well as maintain staff and student accounts. The technician will also assist the director of technology with ongoing technology projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience with technology in an educational environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS, laptop and desktop computers, and Chromebooks
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hardware and software installations
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Multi-tasking skills to handle large volumes of technology requests
- Ability to work well with people and answer end-user questions
- Good organizational skills and communication skills
- Customer service oriented attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair staff and student devices and peripheral equipment
- Work with end-users to answer technology related questions in a timely manner
- Re-image or refresh operating systems and upgrade software as needed
- Maintain all staff and student accounts
- Help maintain an inventory of all technology equipment
- Distribute/collect/assist staff and students with hardware and software
- Monitor/purchase and distribute toner/ink for the district.
- Assist with district digital platforms
- Assist with managing the district 1:1 program
- Assist with phone system changes
- Assist in supporting standardized testing
- Assist with data cabling and network device installations
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Technology Coordinator
Hours and Pay
- Starting Pay Range $20.00 an hour
- 260 Days, 8 Hours

MCCSC will pay for physical, criminal history check, skills test and some training. $200 stipend when training in completed.
