Qualifications: High school diploma, some post-secondary education is preferred; but not required, computer/technology-related skills; organizational skills; previous experience working with students; excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Successful candidate will be responsible for following a specials schedule, teaching technology skills to students in kindergarten through 5th grade, and also assisting with other school-related tasks (bus/breakfast duties & academic remediation.) Ideal candidate would be willing to report to both Mill Creek West and Mill Creek East Elementary Schools. Successful candidate will exhibit discretion, loyalty and confidentiality.  Must be cooperative and supportive of school corporation policies and procedures.

Announcement of Vacancy

Position:  Clinic/Office Assistant - 182 day per school year position, 7 hours per day (does not include 1/2 hr. unpaid lunch), Mill Creek East Elementary, Mrs. Wendy Myers, Principal

Beginning:  On or about August 8, 2017.

Salary - $11.14 hr.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent, experience in a hospital/clinic setting, good public relations skills. Licensed LPN/RN preferred, but not required.

Other:  Successful candidate will exhibit discretion, loyalty and confidentiality.  Must be cooperative and supportive of school corporation policies and procedures. Good attendance and punctuality are extremely important.  An expanded criminal history background check is required and will be processed through the Administrative Services Center.  All new classified employees must successfully complete a 60-day probationary period.

Position: Maintenance Employee

  • Full-time position (8 hours per day, not including dinner break).
  • Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement required,  will train.
